Stardew Valley Secret Woods
Although these woods are secret, you can find and enter this area from the northwest of Cindersap Forest, which is located south of the Farm. At first, you won’t be able to enter this Stardew Valley hidden forest because of a fallen log that blocks the entrance. However, as soon as you upgrade to a Steel Axe, it won’t be a problem anymore. There are many forageable items in Stardew Valley Secret Woods, and there are also Slimes that will attack you, so prepare to defend yourself!
Another feature of this forest is Large Stumps. There are six stumps that regrow every day. It allows you to harvest 12 pieces of hardwood on a daily basis. You can find four stumps in the upper section of the woods, and the remaining two are in a lower area, which is also smaller. There are two covered passages that allow you to reach these two stumps: the first passage goes through the trees southeast of the upper section, while another passage is south of the entrance. If you approach a bush, this passage will be in 2 or 3 tiles to the right. You will have to start walking south, then turn left, and then turn south again.
There is also a pond in the southwest. This is the only place on the Standard Farm map where you can catch the Woodskip. However, if you’ve chosen the Forest Farm, you can catch it on the farm. In the pond, you can also catch Catfish and Carp.
The Stardew Valley secret forest also has a statue of Old Master Cannoli. If you interact with it, a description will appear, telling you that Old Master Cannoli is still looking for the sweetest taste. Give this statue a Sweet Gem Berry, and you’ll be rewarded with a Stardrop.
Depending on the season of the year, you can find various forageable mushrooms and plants here. In Spring, there are Common Mushroom, Morel, and Wild Horseradish. In Summer, there are Fiddlehead Fern and Red Mushroom. During the Fall, you can find Common Mushroom, Red Mushroom, and Chanterelle here. In winter, go to the Secret Woods for Holly.
