Stardew Valley Egg Hunt Festival
Your life in Stardew Valley includes many kinds of activities. First of all, you have to take care of your crops and animals that you breed. Along with this, the game provides you with flexible plots about your relationships with other villagers. You can become friends with some villagers, or even try to become best friends with every one of them, this is possible too. Moreover, if you have a friend you want to live with, just keep working on your relations and, who knows, maybe you will marry?
However, these interpersonal relationships are not the only way of socialization in this game. Sometimes the authorities of the town organize interesting events, like festivals. Along with the annual Stardew Valley Fall Festival, there is another festival that we want to talk about. This is the Egg hunt Festival, offers you this kind of fun every year, on Spring 13th. To participate in it, you have to enter Pelican Town from 9 AM to 2 PM. However, you cannot enter it earlier. At 10 PM you will return to the Farm, as the Festival ends.
The most interesting feature of this event is the Egg Hunt. There are colored eggs all around the town and your goal is to find as much of them as you can. You won’t be the only person hunting for eggs – other villagers also participate in this challenge, so you may need help with such a task. That’s why we decided to provide you with simple tips that may help you find more eggs and win the competition.
To start Egg Hunt, you have to talk to Mayor Lewis. Most players notice that you have to collect 9 eggs to win. At the same time, some players claim that they managed to win with eight, or even seven eggs, but these cases are rather the exception. You have only 50 seconds, in real-time, to gather as many eggs as you can, otherwise, Abigail will win. And we are sure about it because she almost always wins! Even a fact that she has little Jas besides her, so she could help him win, doesn’t change this situation. Thus, you have to deal with her winning, or do your best and find 9 eggs.
Once you gathered 9 eggs, you win the Egg Festival, and your reward is… a Straw Hat. Well, don’t get upset about this prize, because you can win it only once. Every next year you will be able to win 1,000 gold, which is much better.
Egg Hunt Map
Just trust us, it’s almost impossible to win this festival if you have no ideas about where to search for eggs. The task is so difficult because all the eggs are hidden, and you have a limited amount of time. Thus, you can simplify it by studying paths and surroundings. The best way to win is to play the festival several times. Anyway, we are here to suggest you some places on the map.
The Stardew Valley Egg Festival starts in the town square. There are many people there, and some of them are going to participate in the competition. When everyone is ready, you will see a pop-up message. Don’t hurry up to move far from the square. The first egg is hidden on the left of the square, behind a big tree. Generally, trees are one of the most common places to search for eggs. Another advice: fences. If you’re trying to find eggs in the open ground, prepare to lose. Fences, trees, bushes are best. There is at least one egg hidden near each house, one egg is hidden in the garbage can, another – in the truck, one near the trailer, and you have a chance to find 8 eggs on your way from the square to the Bridge (there is one egg on the bridge). Four of these eggs are hidden on the Graveyard.
Egg Hunt is quite a challenge not only because you have to find eggs, but also because you have to retain a certain level of energy. We suggest eating some food before you go to the festival. If you forget it, visit one of many shops, and buy a snack.
Summing up, don’t forget that you have only 50 seconds to win, and search behind trees and fences – this is your key to success. Good luck!
