Stardew Valley: Caroline
Life without friends sucks, that’s why we keep introducing you inhabitants of a wonderful place called Stardew Valley. In this article, we will talk about Caroline. We really want you to have more friends, so we decided to give you all necessary information, including her favorite gifts and places where you can find her anytime you want.
Caroline lives in Pelican Town, and she’s Pierre’s wife. Her hair is green, though she doesn’t like her daughter’s purple hair. Pierre owns General Store, and the whole family lives in the same building north of Town Square. Caroline is in good relations with Jodi, and they both attend aerobics classes, along with Robin, Marnie, and Emily (and sometimes with Mayor Lewis).
Well, let’s move straight to Caroline’s schedule, so you could find her and have a small talk. Don’t forget that every villager’s schedule changes depending on the calendar and weather.

Stardew Valley Gift Guide: Caroline Edition
The best and probably the only way to make friends in Stardew Valley is giving right gifts. That’s why we always provide you with the list of best and worst gifts. Pay special attention to birthday gifts, which effect is increased eight times. Caroline’s birthday is Winter 7.
Caroline would be really impressed if you give her Summer Spangle, Fish Taco, or any item that is loved by all the villagers. She would also like to receive Daffodil as a gift. Caroline is neutral to all Milk, Fruits, and Eggs.
Don’t give her Common Mushroom, Amaranth, Leek, Chanterelle, Wild Horseradish, Mayonnaise, Duck Mayonnaise, Holly, Dandelion, Purple Mushroom, Hazelnut, Winter Root, Morel, and Snow Yam, unless you want to lose friendship points.
Never-ever give her Salmonberry and Quartz, she hates these gifts.
Quests
On Fall 19th, you will receive a letter from Caroline, where she asks you to bring her a Pumpkin. Do it, and earn 500 gold and a Friendship heart.
Just like other villagers, Caroline sometimes leaves her requests on the “Help Wanted” board. You can find it outside the store. You get three times bigger reward for each item from this board, along with 150 points of friendship.
Heart Events
Friendship points turn into Friendship hearts. The scale of hearts reflects your Stardew Valley romance or friendship with any villager. When you have a certain number of hearts, it unlocks special events with the character.
The three-heart event is a letter from Caroline, where you will find a Parsnip Soup recipe. This soup increases your energy by 85 points, and also gives 38 health points.
The six-heart event triggers at Pierre’s General Store when Caroline is there with her daughter Abigail. You will see them fight because of the good old story: mom doesn’t like how her daughter dresses.
The seven-heart event is another letter with a recipe. This time, it will be a Vegetable Stew. This dish gives you 165 points of energy and 74 health points.
