Stardew Valley: Penny

We keep introducing girls of Stardew Valley, in case you’re tired of working on your farm, and start thinking of working on your private life. There are twelve characters to choose from, you can date or marry any one of them, but this task requires certain preparation.

In this article, we will talk about Penny, a good girl who lives with her mom near the river. She is somewhat shy and quiet. She wants to have her own family; she likes to cook, even though she’s not the best at it, and also she reads books.

First of all, you should take into account that romance is based on gifts. Every week, you can give a villager that you like two gifts, or three gifts, in case it’s his or her birthday. Just like in the real life, every one of them has particular preferences, when it comes to gifts, so you must know what to choose. Along with gifts, you must spend your time with villagers, talk to them, and so you really need to know where to find each one of them. That’s why we decided to write a schedule, so you could easily understand where to find Penny.

Penny: Stardew Valley Schedule

Most often, you can find Penny in her trailer, or at the museum, where she tutors Vincent and Jas. Her behavior may vary depending on a season. In spring, she’s often at her trailer, or reads books near the graveyard. From 4:00 PM she’s sitting with Maru near the Saloon.

In summer, she walks through town, and sits at her trailer, doing dishes. On sunny days, she often goes to the Carpenter’s Shop. On Monday, Thursday, and Sunday, in sunny weather, she likes to stand by the river, which is near JojaMart. She also walks to the community center. On Tuesday and Saturday, you can meet her near the graveyard. On Saturday, she also walks with kids to Emily’s place. On Wednesday and Friday, she visits the Museum at morning; she also walks near the bridge in Pelican Town, and walks Jas and Vincent home.

During fall, on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, she reads books near the graveyard or walks towards the Stardrop Saloon, where she sits on the bench outside. On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, she’s at the Museum from 9:00 AM. She also walks kids home, so you may meet her near 2 Willow Lane, and Marnie’s Ranch. On Saturday she’s at the playground with Vincent and Jas; then she walks them home, and returns to her trailer at 8:40 PM.

In winter, she follows her regular schedule, doing her household tasks at the trailer, and reading near the graveyard. On Wednesday and Friday, she’s with Jas and Vincent at the Museum from 10:00 AM till 2:00 PM. Then she walks kids home, visiting 2 Willow Lane and Marnie’s Ranch. On Saturday, you can meet her at the playground, or beside Emily’s house. If the community center is restored, she often reads there, and walks around. On Winter 4^th, she visits Harvey’s Clinic.

Don’t forget that all villagers may change their usual behavior when it rains, and Penny is no exception.

Now you know where to find Penny, so let’s move further and consider Penny gifts. We suggest you to choose gifts accurately, especially birthday gifts, since they have an increased (8 times) impact on your relations.

Stardew Valley gift guide: Penny Edition

If you want to impress her best, give her any item from the Universal Loves category, except Rabbit’s Foot. Penny also loves Poppy, Diamond, Poppyseed Muffin, Melon, Tom Kha Soup, Red Plate, Emerald, Sandfish, and Roots Platter.

Penny likes Leek and Dandelion, as well as all Milk, and she’s neutral to Winter Root, Hazelnut, Snow Yam, Morel, Chanterelle, Daffodil, Wild Horseradish, and Common Mushroom.

We suggest you not to give her Wool, Quartz, Salmonberry, Algae Soup, Purple Mushroom, Duck Feather, Red Mushroom, and Pale Broth.

Some items may be considered the worst choice, since these items would drive Penny mad. Never give her Wine, Holly, Beer, Mead, Grape, Rabbit’s Foot, Hops, and Pale Ale.

In Stardew Valley, Penny marriage is impossible without romantic story of your relations. Let’s take a look at heart events!

Romance options

Two-heart event occurs in Pelican Town, from 9 AM till 2 PM. You will see Penny helping George to get some letters from his mailbox. However, he will be upset of such help, because he certainly doesn’t want to be treated like an old man. Tell Penny that she did everything right, and get +50 points of friendship.

Penny 4 hearts event is at her trailer, where you will help Penny to clean up. Then her mother will come, yelling at her, because she lets somebody to do her job… However, you’ll receive a letter from Penny, where she will apologize.

Penny 6 hearts event is at her trailer too, and this time she will ask you to try her new recipe. It’s really bad, but we suggest you to lie, and tell her that it’s delicious, so you’ll get another 50 points of friendship.

Eight-heart event occurs in the Cindersap Forest, from 9 AM to 4 PM. She will ask you to join her with kids and take a walk. Say that you love this idea. Further, you will talk about family, so keep being enthusiastic about family, kids, and stuff.

Finally, ten-heart event occurs at the spa, after you receive her letter with invitation. Here she will tell you about her feelings, and you will kiss.
