Stardew Valley: Emily
We know that you want to find your soul mate, so we do everything possible to help you find a girl to marry. Marriage is an important part of your life in Stardew Valley. This game is somewhat similar to real life: you see somebody, then you have a small talk, then you become friends, and then your friendship turns into romance… Well, let’s start from basics. Your friendship with every villager is measured in friendship points. How you can get these points? Just give somebody a gift, and he or she will like you more. Simple, isn’t it? You can give no more than two gifts per week to every villager. However, you surely need to give an extra gift on one’s birthday. Gifts, and conversations (at the right place, at the right time) create chemistry of your relations.
Thus, if you want somebody to like you, you have to know what he or she likes, because a wrong gift may play a bad joke with you. You also must be able to find this character for conversation, so you have to know its favorite places, and its schedule. This is exactly why we wrote this article. Today we will tell you about Emily.
Emily is one of six bachelorettes. She is from Pelican Town, and she lives at 2 Willow Lane with her sister, Haley. She works at the Stardrop Saloon for a living, but her real passion is making clothing. Let’s see where you can meet this girl.
Emily’s Schedule
In spring, on Monday, Emily is at home until 4:30 PM, when she moves to the Saloon. On Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday she stays in the bedroom until afternoon. These days she’s at home. On Tuesday she meets with her friends at Pierre’s store, where she does aerobics.
During summer, on Monday, Friday, and Sunday she spends all day at home. On Tuesday, you can meet her at Pierre’s shop; she is there from 1:00 PM. On Wednesday, she works in the Saloon from 4:10 PM, just like on Sunday, when she also takes a walk from her home to the Saloon, walking through Town Square at 3:50 PM.
During fall, on Tuesday, she’s at home until 10:20 AM. Then she goes to the Pierre’s store to workout, which takes about three hours. At 4:50 PM, she arrives at the Saloon to work. There she works until 12:30 PM. On Wednesday, she’s at the Saloon from 4:10 PM. On Thursday, Friday, and Sunday, she’s at home all day long.
In winter, on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday, you can meet her either at home, or at the Stardrop Saloon. On Tuesday, she’s at Pierre’s store from 11:10 AM, and on Thursday and Friday, she’s at home all day, as well as on Sunday. Winter 11th she’s in clinic until 4:00 PM, when her shift in the Saloon starts.
As we mentioned above, when it comes to love, Stardew Valley gameplay implies giving gifts. Every villager has its own tastes, so we decided to make a gift guide for you.
Gift Guide: Emily Edition
Emily would appreciate all gifts from the Universal Loves category, as well as Cloth, Amethyst, Survival Burger, Aquamarine, Ruby, Wool, Emerald, Topaz, and Jade. She also likes Quartz, and Daffodil.
Emily would be absolutely neutral to Hazelnut, Chanterelle, Purple Mushroom, Dandelion, Snow Yam, Common Mushroom, Leek, Wild Horseradish, Morel, and Winter Root.
Just like other Stardew Valley marriage candidates, Emily dislikes all Universal Dislikes, as well as Ice Cream, Spicy Eel, Fried Eel, Salmonberry, and Rice Pudding.
We suggest you never give her Maki Roll, Fish Taco, Salmon Dinner, Holly, and Sashimi, she really hates these items.
Stardew Valley Relationship Guide: Emily
Once you achieved more than 0 friendship points with Emily, get ready to receive gifts from her. The stronger your friendship, the more are chances for a next gift.
Your romantic relations are measured in hearts. The two-heart event occurs when you enter her room, and she sleeps. Suddenly you get into her dream, where she is literally floating in meditation. As you appear from nowhere, she is really surprised, and wakes up. She says to herself that it’s definitely something special about you, so maybe it’s a kind of destiny.
Another, three-heart event on the way to your marriage is when you receive a letter with a recipe from Emily. Check it out, and you will learn how to make a healthy salad.
The four-heart event occurs in a sunny day, whenever but in winter. You don’t really participate in this episode, since it’s about Emily and… parrots. She will see a parrot smacking against her window. Since now, she will take care of it, and the parrot will live in her room. When you there, press the ‘check’ button, and it will squawk.
The six-heart event is at Emily’s house. She will tell you about her secret hobby, which is dancing! Watch her dance, and say that it was amazing (or just clap), it will give you +25 friendship points.
The seven-heart event is for another recipe. This time, it will be Red Plate.
The eight-heart event is called “Clothing Therapy”, and it takes place at the Mayor’s house, after you receive an invitation from Emily. Her friends will dress in her suits, and it will be a lot of fun, until Clint will see how much chemistry is between you and Emily, so he will leave, making her confused.
And, finally (drum roll) – the ten-heart event. Emily will go camping with you in the Secret Woods. A short time later, a bear will suddenly join you. She will be scared, because she won’t be able to get her sleeping bag. You two will hide in a tent, and you will share your sleeping bag. You will even see how the tent moves! Just keep in mind that it won’t happen if you don’t upgrade to the Steel Axe, since you cannot get into woods without it.
