If you’re playing the Stardew Valley game and you’re looking for Kent, he can be found in Pelican Town when he is not serving in the army and he is away. Kent does come back to Stardew Valley to live during the second year, in spring. This is why a lot of people who try to find Kent in Stardew Valley, can’t find him during the first year. You can find some references to him in the contents of a drawer and Vincent writes that ‘Daddy comes home soon…’.

Kent is older and is involved in a Stardew Valley romance. He is married to Jodi. Kent and Jodi also have two sons and they live together as a family at 1 Willow Lane. Stardew Valley Kent is an interesting character and doesn’t seem cheery or happy. Most of the time you can find him spending his days doing nothing but staring at things and mumbling something to himself.

Kent’s schedule never really changes except for Saturday. At 5 PM he will head to the Stardrop Saloon likely for a Beer or a Pale Ale. He doesn’t do much otherwise except hang close to his home where he can be found outside standing by some trees close to his home. Sundays he will head to Pierre’s General Store around 11 AM where you might find him praying or just checking out the store.

Stardew Valley Gift Guide: Kent Edition

Knowing what Kent likes and doesn’t like is simple. He prefers things like Fiddlehead Risotto and Roasted Hazelnuts. Both Kent and his wife like Crispy Bass once in a while. Pale Ale and Beer are also his favorites. Kent also likes most precious gems like the Prismatic Shard, but not all.

If you check out the Stardew Valley Gift Guide for all the things he likes you will see that he likes All Eggs and also all fruits, Beer and Crispy Bass as we mentioned before, Cheese Cauliflower, Daffodil, Mayo, Melon, Omelet, Parsnip, Blackberry, and Sweet Pea.

Kent is neutral to Winter Root, Hazelnut, Common Mushroom, Leek, Chanterelle, Snow Yam, Morel, Dandelion, and Wild Horseradish.

We suggest not giving him Snow Yam, Tortilla, Quartz, Algae Soup, Sashimi, and Holly.

Quests

Stardew Valley Kent will send you a letter during the 15th of Summer. This will start the quest ‘A Soldiers Star’ whereupon completing it you will get 1 Friendship heart and 500 gold. Any friendship level higher than three hearts will get Kent to send you this letter.

Kent also can randomly request some item at the Help Wanted board that you can find outside of Pierre’s General Store.

Kent’s Relationships Guide

The only relationship that Kent has is with his wife Jodi. Aside from that, when you get a certain amount of hearts you will see some events and get some recipes.

His events include a scene with Kent at his home when you reach three hearts with him. Kent will also send you the Crispy Bass recipe if you get to three hearts with him. If you are looking to get Cherry Bombs or just Bombs, just reach five hearts. No, the bombs aren’t lit, fortunately. Once you reach seven hearts with him he will mail you the Super Meal recipe.
